Gather Requests In-Process

Before a Gather request is delivered to the taxpayer, it must processed. The main In-Process dashboard shows requests that have been uploaded, but not delivered.

Upload Options

The option that is selected also determiness what kind of gather request is initiated when you click on New Gather

  1. Select Single to view all one-off Gather requests on the dashboard. 
  2. Select Batch to view all batch Gather requests on the dashboard. 

Action Items

Delete

  1. Delete multiple requests by selecting the requests, then clicking the Trash icon OR
  2. Delete a single request by clicking Delete under the Actions menu. 

Process

Once the request is uploaded, it appears in the In Process dashboard. 

  1. Click Process to open the Gather request. 

Edit Client Info

  1. Click the More Actions(...) menu.
  2. Click Edit Client Info.
    • Edit the Client ID, Name, Email Address, or Mobile number as needed. 
  3. Click Save

Report a Problem

This option allows you to send a report from a specific Gather request to our Support team. This provides them with additional Gather request details that may be useful for troubleshooting. 

    1. Click the More Actions(...) menu.
    2. Click Report a Problem.
    3. Confirm your Information. 
    4. Enter a Description of the issue. The more details, the better. 
    5. Click Submit.

Additional Actions

  1. Click Refresh to refresh the In-Process page
  2. Click Filter to Apply recent filter, Save current filter, or Clear Filter.  
    • You can filter by Name, Client ID, ERO/Signer, Assigned To, Status, etc. using the column headers on the In-Process page.
  3. Click Export To Excel to generate a report with the information listed for all Gather requests shown in the In-Process section.

In-Process Statuses

  • Uploaded: This status appears briefly immediately after the request has been uploaded. It changes to Ready once the upload is complete.
  • Ready: This status appears after the request has completed uploading. It also indicates that no one has started processing it yet. 
  • Processing: This status appears after a user clicks the request to be processed.
  • Error: This status indicates the request was not recognized by Gather or was missing pertinent information. 
  • Delivery in Progress: This status appears briefly immediately after the request has been delivered. Once the request has been sent, it is moved to the Delivered dashboard.
