This article contains an up-to-date list of organizer return types (and their generating tax software) that are recognized in Gather.
Important
- Unsupported documents aren't recognized. They will not have fillable fields for the client.
- Most organizer pages are recognized. This includes lite organizers, classic, and full versions. Fillable fields will appear green in the Taxpayer Preview.
- Due Diligence letters are not currently recognized for all tax software types. Condensed organizers for Lacerte® are not currently recognized. Summary organizers for GoSystem® are not currently recognized.
- You can deliver a Gather request without an organizer, but at least one standard organizer page must be uploaded to start processing.
